Xpert Technology implemented a complete topology, hardware and VMware upgrade. Four existing IT Burtek employees were replaced with one on-site Xpert employee and their 24×7 help desk, providing coverage for three shifts at Burtek. Xpert’s xComplete fully managed solution, provides full visibility into their network environment of 15 Servers and 150 users, providing consistent and timely support.

Xpert created both documentation and process standards to implement a uniform environment for all of the users. Additionally, a robust remote data backup solution, xBackup, was installed to provide business continuity in case of a disaster. Security infrastructure was upgraded with the installation of a new firewall.

In the process of installing the new infrastructure, the architecture was streamlined so that it requires less management overhead. Because Burtek was growing, adding new employees was not putting additional pressure on their interal IT staff, because it was leveraging the depth of Xpert’s staff.
